The International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik is one of the most important conferences in the field of information systems and the flagship conference of the German-speaking information systems community. The 13th International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI 2017) will be held in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and offers an exchange forum for innovative and established topics of information systems – for both, research and practice. The conference motto “Towards Thought Leadership in Digital Transformation” constitutes the substantial focus of WI 2017. “Thought Leadership” hence leads to innovative and substantial results that provide new insights into the modes of action of digital transformation and moreover presents innovative solutions to the design of organizations and information systems (“from insight to impact”).

The context of the conference "Wirtschaftsinformatik 2017" at the University of St. Gallen provides the possibility of conducting workshops, „pre conference“(Sunday, February 12th 2017, 10:00 – 16:00) or „post conference“(Wednesday, February 15th 2017, 13:30 – 18:00).

Please submit proposals for workshops until August 31st, 2016 with the following information to Prof. Dr. Reinhard Jung:

• Designated target group (please make clear, if the workshop addresses only participants of the conference or if it is also open to an audience from outside)
